My husband and I love to cook, and love trying new things in the kitchen. We have a handful of "go-to" meals that we know how to make without instruction. But there are those recipes that get handed down to you from your parents and their parents, that you grew up eating. THOSE are why I got this. I was shocked at how nice this was. It is large, so make sure you have a place to put a large binder, but the craftsmanship?!! Are you kidding me. It's gorgeous, so I wouldn't mind having this out on the counter somewhere on display. It's beautiful. And as a binder girl, I appreciate the organization this kit provides you. It comes with dividers that say what it is, you don't have to write anything. You just put it together. The sleeves it comes with to protect the recipe cards, omg. I CANNOT handle how beautiful this is. I'm ordering more cards and more sleeves so that I can send them out to my family, so I can have their handwriting for the recipes I want from them. I really love this, and would totally gift it to another foody. One of the best buys I've made this year. Big fan. 10 out of 10 stars.This is a well-outfitted "system", if you will, for keeping recipes in various presentations. It is accurate, as reviewer kiasumsam stated, that the background of the cover is a light blue, not white, posting a photo for contrast reference. Looking back in the photos now, I can see the background as a light blue; but because I initially thought it was white, maybe other would also. I'm not a huge fan of blue in my kitchen, but the usefulness of this Recipe Binder cancelled that out for me.This binder is exactly what I was looking for. I was able to dig out all of my recipes from an over stuffed recipe box and display them beautifully in this binder, creating my own heirloom cookbook of family favorites. Recipes are now more accessible and more organized. I can find Grandma's hand written bourbon ball recipe with ease! The binder comes with protective sleeves that hold 8.5 x 11 printer paper. Also included are divided protective sleeves that snugly hold the larger recipe cards, also included. The small note card size recipes are a bit loose, but not a big deal. There are a lot of sheet protectors included, but I am already needing more. This is a large binder that will hold lots of recipes and I'll be able to expand it over the years. Great purchase!I really like the inside entry design of the recipe card protector pages, which keep me cards in place. I wish it came with more of them. The binder itself is sturdy and attractive.I love the lemon motif. This comes very nicely packaged in a box so would be great for a gift, easily wrapped. My only complaint is that the binder is very wide and feels a little clunky.I was excited to receive this and put it together as a birthday gift for my mom since her recipe book has seen better days. Disappointed that the gift box it comes in came crushed (luckily the inside contents was fine)I was looking for a full page recipe binder for a Long time before deciding on this one. I like the gold font on the cover, it makes it look a little more elegant. It came with a lot of page protectors, and blank recipe cards. The only thing I wish was different, was I wish that they would sell full size refill pages, instead of me having to print out my own (using the pdf template they provided) on my cheapo all-in-one printer. They just don’t come out the same. So I did a search here on Amazon for “lemon full-size recipe pages”, and I found some that are professionally printed, nice vibrant color a nice paper stock, and I’m using those for my full-size pages.This binder is absolutely perfect!!
