They held my tractor down on the trailer!A nice heavy duty set of chain binders. The ratchets work well easily, and tighten down easily. No issues holding a 22k LB load that I typically pull, with 2 front and 2 rear on 3'8 chain. About a 75 mile trip down rough dirt roads and they held well.These are very heavy duty binders. The ratchets work great. The big plus for me is the paint. The paint seems extremely thick and durable. Shouldn't rust for a very long time.I used them to chain down a load of junk headed to the scrap yard. They rotated freely and worked even better after some lubrication. the hooks work well with 3/8 and 5/16 inch chain. The ratchet mechanism worked well. I have had some in the past that were to tight or wouldn't always engage the ratchet. These are priced slightly less than similar items on the internet.Great chain tensioners. An absolute necessity to bind my tractor to the trailer for transport. Easy to use and the ratchet mechanism keeps them from backing off and loosening up.Heavy-duty, easy to use. Very nice ratcheting mechanism. Would order again.Designed for heavy equipment and can handle the task, a bit of overkill on what I use it for, but nothing moves on long hauls with these in place. Only used once, but were easy to bind and unbind, as expected, and if finish holds up they will look great for years to come. I probably should extend and put a little grease on these, maybe after the first season using them. Certain something to pass along to children and their children for years to come.Could even use to help fell trees...Good binders
